Our Leadership

Meet our Team

    Lead Pastor

Rev. & (Mrs) Daphline Achumba

Elim Fountain of Hope Church has entered an exciting new season under the leadership of Rev. Daphline Achumba, following her induction as Lead Pastor on 28th June 2026. This marks a significant milestone in the life of the church as we embrace God’s continuing purpose and vision for our congregation and our community.

Building on the faithful foundations laid over many years, this new season is characterised by a renewed commitment to raising disciples, impacting our community with the love of Christ, and seeing lives transformed through the power of the Gospel.
Together with a dedicated team of leaders and workers, Rev. Daphline Achumba is committed to leading the church into all that God has prepared for the future.

For many years, Rev. Daphline Achumba faithfully served the church and the wider Elim movement alongside her husband, Rev. Wilfred Achumba, as an Assistant Minister. Her ministry has been characterised by unwavering faithfulness, a deep love for God, a passion for prayer, and a commitment to teaching His Word with wisdom, clarity, and grace. She has quietly and consistently invested in the lives of individuals and families, encouraging believers to grow in Christ and serving the church with humility, compassion, and excellence.

Rev. Daphline Achumba held an Elim Pentecostal Church Licence to Minister from 2014 until June 2023. Following successful completion of the Ministry Foundation Course at Regents Theological College, she was accepted as a Minister in Training within the Elim Pentecostal Church.

In May 2026, at the Elim Leaders’ Summit, she was received as an Alliance Minister and continued serving at Elim Fountain of Hope Church, Oldham. She was subsequently ordained into the regular ministry of the Elim Pentecostal Church on 13th June 2026, before being inducted as Lead Pastor two weeks later.

Alongside her pastoral ministry, Rev. Daphline Achumba has dedicated her professional life to serving others as a registered social worker, reflecting the compassion and love of Christ through both her vocation and her ministry. She brings together a shepherd’s heart, spiritual discernment, biblical wisdom, and a genuine passion to see individuals, families, and communities transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

She is married to Rev Wilfred Achumba, and they are blessed with 4 children and a grandson.
